Assalamu Alaikum, BHA Parents. Please read our weekly announcements.

Priority Registration – Begins Monday:
Priority Registration for current BHA students to enroll for 2019-20 will be open on Monday, February 25, and last until Friday, March 8, insha’Allah.

In addition, we’re accepting New Student Applications NOW! However, new applications will not be processed until after the end of Priority Registration!
For new student, there’s a One Time NON REFUNDABLE APPLICATION FEE – $100.00 cash or check only!

Physical Education:
Please remind your student to bring their own yoga mat as we will be doing some stretching workouts through the week, insha’Allah. (Write your student’s name on the mat; we will store them here). Also students should wear comfortable shoes and bring enough water for P.E.

Annual Fundraiser Reminder – Student Information
The annual banquet is just two weeks away–don’t forget to purchase tickets for Saturday, March 2, at Sheraton Mission Valley Hotel, insha’Allah, on the school website.

All elementary children attending must be registered for and inside the children’s program. All other students must be accompanied by an adult and seated in the program with the adult at all times. No children should be outside a program and in any other area of the hotel.

Adult: $40.00 in advance and $45.00 at the door
Child: $30.00 in advance and $35.00 at the door
Tickets include: children’s program, Mystic Grill catering, entertainment, and a surprise keynote speaker!

Fundraising Competition:
From now until the banquet, students are encouraged to bring in donation money. Winning students will receive a prize such as a party. All donation money should be turned into the office.

Orphan Sponsorship – $5 a Month:
BHA Allied Gardens students have pledged to sponsor six orphans through a $5 donation each month. Please remind your child or children to bring in the $5 for February (and other months if they forgot).
If any student feels that this is a hardship, they may confidentially tell the office, and a way will be found to provide their amount in another way.

Bus Departure:
The bus driver has reinforced the fact that the bus will NOT stop for any student once the bus is moving.

School Wide Recycling Competition:
The last date to turn in recycling receipts for Kindness to the Environment Contest between the TK – 9th grades will be Monday, March 4. Please turn in receipts to the office so that your student’s class will receive the party, insha’Allah.

Items are to be collected at home, recycled and then the receipt is to be turned in to each student’s respective class. I would like for the receipts to be turned in on Mondays, insha’Allah.

The goal is to recycle as much as possible. Any money raised you can keep as an incentive, insha’Allah. The following items should be recycled.

1. Plastic water bottles
2. Aluminum cans
3. Paper
Please feel free to email Ms. Monica (2nd Grade Teacher) at monica.al-amin@issdweb.org with any questions or suggestions.

JazakumAllah Khair

Enjoy your weekend. See you all on Monday Insha’Allah.!!!
